Who We Are
Our Story
The formation of Stoke UK Diaspora Sacco was first discussed during a UKAAF Christian fellowship meeting held in Stoke-on-Trent, UK on 1st October 2016. The pioneering team envisioned an organization based on Cooperative as well as Adventist principles that would foster a saving culture among members, offer affordable credit, provide viable investments and effect social change. We were registered on 9th June 2017 in accordance with The Co-operative Societies Act Cap 490, Section 6 (3) of the Co-operative Societies
We are a fast-growing, well-managed organization currently drawing members from Europe, the USA, Canada Australia, Middle East, Africa and our our homeland Kenya. Our Membership is open to all Kenyans regardless of race, tribe, gender, political affiliation, religion, or job status.
We give our members a wide choice of tailored Savings products and affordable Loans to power their investment and financial growth. We are member-focussed and member-run right from our subcommittees who collect ideas from members and distil and develop them before presenting them to the Board of Directors for approval and implementation.
